The 2010 carnival in Kounoupidiana, Akrotiri, Chania was packed on Sunday as hundreds of revellers took to the streets to celebrate.

There were a few revellers poking fun at the government and Greece's current affairs.
"Fakelaki - Nai. Apodeiksi - Oxi" ('Envelope - Yes. Receipt - No' An envelope being an envelope of cash as referred to in a bribe.)
Even the on duty policemen joined in the 'kefi':
